Paperless mortgage process

The mortgage industry has traditionally been very paper-saturated. By using technology, we have created a system that eliminates the need for a paper mortgage file. Not only does this decrease our environmental footprint, it helps us to increase efficiencies and document security.

paperless worklfow saves trees

It is estimated that under traditional mortgage process, a closed file uses 500 sheets of paper on average. This means that for every 17 loans we close under the paperless platform, 1 tree will be saved.

Employee incentives

We want our employees to get involved. Employees will earn green points when they use alternative transportation or carpool to get to work and also when they make environmentally responsible changes at home. These points will translate into a donation from loanDepot to the employee’s charity of choice.

Recycling programs

Our office participates in a comprehensive recycling program. We recycle cardboard, aluminum and tin cans, paper, glass, and plastics. Computers and hardware are always taken to a recycler or re-user. Whenever paper is required, we will use recycled FSC certified paper.
