King joins loanDepot's industry-elite executive team to focus on further fusing marketing and technology to accelerate and amplify the brand as it enters its tenth year in the market

Fintech leader loanDepot continues to attract top talent from across the country, assembling a world-class team dedicated to helping American customers as it evolves into a convenient, one-stop lending shop. As part of that growth, David King has joined loanDepot as Chief Marketing Officer. In his role, David will oversee the management of loanDepot's national brand, including consumer insights, digital marketing, creative development and media management.

The UK-born mortgage executive has cultivated an extraordinary reputation in the industry as a respected leader and savvy marketer with years of expertise in developing compelling brand stories. Before joining loanDepot, King served as the Chief Brand Officer at Movement Mortgage and Realty One Group.

It was during his time at Movement Mortgage when King first met Anthony Hsieh. He was very impressed by the traction loanDepot was gaining in the industry in such a short amount of time.

David will report to Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Walsh, and partner with executive leaders to develop differentiated messaging focused on driving customer preference for the brand through all channels.
