Joshua is an award-winning journalist with 15 years professional experience as a writer and editor. He has been a reporter for the San Jose Mercury News and managing editor of the national Hispanic Business Magazine. He began his career as a copy editor at the San Diego North County Times. At the San Jose Mercury News Joshua covered City Hall, neighborhoods, real estate and the revitalization and development of downtown San Jose. He also worked as the editor of the Santa Barbara Daily Sound before serving as the Communications Director for the California State Assembly. He has worked in several high-end public relations positions and is currently an adjunct instructor at a California community college.
