Craig joined loanDepot in 2018 bringing 17 years of valuable experience. He completed his education at Sonoma State University. His previous experience includes serving as a Branch Manager and Sales Manager for Wells Fargo and Countrywide Home Loans. Due to his natural ability to lead through change in different markets throughout California, Craig achieved Presidents Club as Branch Manager in Ontario, Santa Clara, and Santa Rosa.
Craig was recruited to the mortgage sector while he was managing a team at Best Buy at just 20 years old, relocating to Sacramento for this opportunity. Since he has always enjoyed inspiring others and growing a team, he quickly became a full time Branch Manager and eventually returned back home to Sonoma County to serve his local community. During his career, he has developed over 10 Branch managers under his leadership.
Craig is thrilled to have aligned with a national lender that rose to the nation’s fifth largest lender in just eight years. In his new role as a District Manager, Craig will be able to help other loan originators grow their business exponentially, while leveraging loanDepot’s best-in-class technology. He believes that being a part of an organization that is disrupting the mortgage industry is crucial to a successful future.
In his free time, Craig enjoys anything that has to do with family and outdoors. He hikes, golfs, rides bikes, and spends time at the beach. He is a sports fan, rooting for the Giants, Niners and Warriors. Craig has been married to Courtney for five years, and together they have two children – five-year-old Brooklynn and one-year-old Bodhi. His family is his life and purpose. He is proud to have acquired his leadership qualities from his father (who passed away in 2012), and mother who taught him hard work and discipline.
Craig’s community efforts include growing membership and board member for AREAA, NAHREP, NHORA, and NORBAR. You can find Craig at the Santa Rosa branch or serving branches throughout the Bay Area.
