David joined loanDepot in 2017 with over forty years of valuable industry experience. His education includes MATC Retail Management, and numerous courses and seminars on real estate, real estate investment, mortgage, as well as sales and leadership training.
His prior experience includes seventeen years in the real estate industry and twenty-three years in the mortgage industry serving as a Loan Originator, Sales Manager and Branch Manager for numerous national lenders, including Countrywide, Bank of America, Sierra Pacific, American Mortgage, Guaranteed Rate, National Mortgage and Mortgages United.
David joined the mortgage industry after leaving real estate in 1989. Today, he still enjoys being a problem solver for his clients as there is no challenge he’s not willing to solve. His favorite part of his job is being able to witness the direct impact he’s made on the lives of his borrowers. The opportunity to realize their American dream is one of the most rewarding parts of his career. He also enjoys being able to build relationship with Realtors, offering them training, guidance and partnership.
In his free time, David enjoys photography, fishing and boating. He is married and has three successful adult children, and four grandchildren. His charitable efforts have included active work in the Salvation Army, as well as serving as the education chair for the state mortgage broker’s association and past president of his Lake Association.
