Pam Istrate, CMPS

Pamela joined loanDepot in 2018 bringing over 28 years of valuable experience. Her background includes working as a mortgage originator for a variety of organizations. Due to her continued dedication throughout the years, she received multiple awards and trips with all of her previous employers. She is excited to share her knowledge with all her loanDepot colleagues and enable more borrowers to pursue their dream of homeownership.

Pamela originally pursued working in the mortgage industry after purchasing her first home at 19 years old. During what was supposed to be an exciting experience, she felt dumbed down and left in the dark about her terms or the process. She knew there had to be a better way for loan officers to help their clients. And that’s exactly what she set out to do. With her immense passion for helping people, Pamela pursued loan origination and since turned it into a successful career. Guiding her clients throughout one of the most important decisions of their lives is something she continues to find very rewarding.

When she’s not originating loans, Pamela enjoys traveling the world and gardening. She is married and has three adult daughters, Laken, Alayna and Alexandra, as well as an 11-year-old son Justin.
