Shelley Sterling

Michelle (Shelley) joined loanDepot in 2018 bringing 22 years of valuable experience. Her background includes starting her own mortgage company, and working as a Broker until 2009. Most recently, she spent 8 years at a bank. Her achievements include reaching Top Volume during her first year in business and qualifying for a company trip to Cancun.

Shelley initially got started in the mortgage industry as a telemarketer. She then immediately moved to a Loan Originator position. Since transitioning, she has enjoyed helping others achieve the dream of homeownership. Finding solutions to challenging problems and guiding her clients throughout one of the most important decisions of their lives is something she finds very rewarding.

In her free time, Shelley enjoys camping, bowling, photography and cake decorating/baking. She is married to Jim and has two daughters, 28-year-old Alyssa and 24-year-old Kendra, and three stepsons, Steve, James, and Joe. Her charitable efforts include participation in the Pelatonia, which supports the James Center at Ohio State University in cancer research.
