I was raised in Pennsylvania in a small generational town tucked in the Appalachian Mountains.  Once I travelled out west, I quickly realized those “mountains” were more like “hills”.  Nonetheless, my childhood was filled with everything outdoors; skiing, hunting, fishing, biking, running and camping.  I was one of the few out of my friend’s group that decided to travel out west once we graduated high school and I’ve never looked back. 

I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ and spent the following 6 years after college working as a firefighter for the Forest Service.  After years of travelling the country fighting fires, it was time to make a change and create a better work/life balance for my wife and I. 

For the past 5 years, I’ve imbedded myself in the lending industry.  My career with loanDepot may appear somewhat non-traditional; however, I bring a unique and well-rounded skillset to the table because of my diverse employment history and life experience.  Confident decision making, strong leadership skills and clear communication were strengths I exercised daily as a firefighter.  I’ve relied heavily on my strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail to be successful in the financial industry.  My employment experience has molded me into a disciplined, dependable and knowledgeable Loan Advisor you can trust with your financial goals. 

I pride myself on that communication and education with every client and delivering custom-tailored service with each interaction. There’s not a one-size-fits-all approach in the mortgage world.
