If you provide the personal data of a reference or any other individual during the application process, it is your responsibility to ensure consent from that person is obtained prior to providing the information to us.

loanDepot may obtain information about you from your references or a background and/or credit check performed in connection with your application, as permitted by applicable law.
Use of Information
By registering on the Careers Site, you agree to allow us to contact you using the information you provide. We do not sell the data we collect from you. The information you submit will be used for loanDepot’s recruitment, management and planning purposes, as permitted by law, including:
- To process your application
- To assess your qualifications for a job
- To perform background or reference checks related to your job application
This information will be added to loanDepot’s database and may be used to consider you for employment opportunities at loanDepot or loanDepot’s affiliated companies in addition to the one you applied for, as well as for additional job recruiting functions. We will also share the data we collect from or about you as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process.
If we hire you, the personal data we collect may be incorporated into our human resources system and may be used to manage the new-hire process. It may become a part of your employee file and may be used for other employment-related purposes.

Normal Website Usage and Cookies
You can visit the Careers Site without telling us who you are and without revealing any personally identifiable information. During these types of visits, we collect and store statistical information on an anonymous basis, such as the information about the time and length of your visit, the website you last visited, the pages you request, and the date and time of those requests. We may also collect and store the name of your Internet Service Provider.
Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
Clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs) help us better manage content on the Careers Site by informing us what effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user's computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We may also use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications.
Do Not Track Signals
Our Careers Site does not actively respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals or mechanisms.

Our Careers Site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13). We request that children do not provide personally identifiable information via our Careers Site.
