I’m Susan Pryor, a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (NMLS #157369) with a career that began in corporate software sales before I found my true calling in mortgages in 2001. After years of long sales cycles and constant travel, I made a purposeful shift to mortgage lending—a decision inspired by my desire to be home with my family and to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This wasn’t a leap but a landing, built on a foundation of experience and a passion for helping others. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading teams as Branch Manager at Benchmark Mortgage and Silverton Mortgage, and I’m proud to have long-standing partnerships with colleagues who have been with me for nearly two decades. I believe in building lasting relationships—whether with real estate agents I’ve worked alongside for 20 years or clients whose children are now buying their first homes. To me, caring is the cornerstone of trust and loyalty. Education is at the heart of my approach. I take the time to demystify the mortgage process, ensuring my clients feel confident and informed rather than overwhelmed. Watching someone move from confusion to comfort is the most rewarding part of my work. Outside of work, I’m deeply committed to community service. I volunteer with Atlanta Angels, supporting foster and kinship families, and I teach continuing education classes on VA loans to real estate agents, helping veterans access the benefits they deserve. Family is central to my life—I’ve been married to Brad for 30 years, and we have two sons pursuing their passions. As part of the sandwich generation, I understand the importance of intergenerational housing, a passion reflected in my personal projects building ADUs. When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll find me hosting Mahjong nights, gardening, painting, or cheering on the Braves. I’m honored to have served over 6,000 clients and to be recognized among the top 1% of mortgage originators nationally for eight consecutive years, with an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau since 2007. Helping people achieve their homeownership dreams is not just my job—it’s my passion.
